• What can you expect in the initial consultation?

At Rita Lucido, P.C. we take pride in the efficient and individualized attention we give to each of our clients. During the initial consultation, we will learn a wide range of facts about your situation in order to answer all of your questions, create a strategy for dealing with your legal issue and alleviate some of your initial concerns.
  • How do I prepare for the consultation?

Consider preparing a list of questions to discuss with the attorney and be prepared to discuss the details of your situation. If you can bring along financial and asset information, it maybe very helpful to have available while discussing divorce. Set aside enough time so that you do not have to rush through the consultation, and are able to be focused. Typically, the consultation will last between 1-1½ hours, but we will take the time needed to answer your questions.
  • Scheduling consultations.

Consultations are by appointment only and typically are conducted between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., depending on the attorney’s court docket and schedule. However, we are happy to try to work around your schedule, and if necessary, we may be available for a consultation after hours or on weekends.
  • Is there a consultation fee?

While our attorneys charge hourly rates commensurate with their experience, there is a reduced fee for a new client’s initial consultation. The consultation fee allows our attorneys to devote the appropriate amount of time to focus on your unique situation and the facts of your case.
